About the speaker:

Daphne Thissen, Founder and Director of Thissen Consulting

Daphne Thissen is the founder and director of Thissen Consulting, an independent consultancy focusing mainly on soft skills used in business and client relationship development in the construction and related industries.

The agency offers one-to-one client feedback, training, coaching, facilitation and building international partnerships.

Before starting her own business, she was the Cultural Attaché for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UK, facilitating and sponsoring UK and Dutch collaborations in design, architecture, and the arts.

Her love of architecture and buildings grew through her training as an architectural historian at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Daphne is a Board Member of the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill and a Director of RIAS Services Ltd in Edinburgh.

Daphne is a keen networker! With a genuine interest in people and skilled in building alliances and connections, she is always happy to make relevant and interesting introductions.
